WHEN SHOULD I REGISTER?

As soon as you can! Registration is now open. On the registration page you can:

WHAT ABOUT PETS?

  • This year, we have the option to “register” pets for $7.50 per pet. All proceeds go to My Sister’s House.
  • You can add pet registrations as an additional option during your register OR you can purchase pet registrations at the Team Store.

HOW DO I FIND OUT IF MY REGISTRATION WENT THROUGH?

You can confirm your registration on Race Roster by searching for your name or email address. You can also email Amanda at amandapmsh@gmail.com

DO I NEED MY REGISTRATION RECEIPT TO PICK UP MY SHIRT AND BIB?

No but it will make things easier!

CAN I PICK UP RACE PACKETS FOR OTHER PEOPLE?

Yes, you can pick up for other people if you have their registration information.

IF I CHOOSE TO HAVE MY REGISTRATION MATERIALS MAILED TO ME, WILL I RECEIVE THEM IN TIME FOR THE RACE DAY ON OCTOBER 31?

The cost to have your packet mailed to you is $7. Be sure to market it on your registration form. In order to guarantee that you will receive your registration materials before Race Day, you must register no later than Monday, October 19. Please make sure to select the mail back option during registration.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS WILL BE ACCEPTED?

  • Online – Credit card only

  • Mail in – Check

  • Packet Pick Up – Cash, credit card or check

CAN I GET A REFUND?

There are no refunds.

FUNDRAISING

You can fundraise with your personal page! Friends and family can donate on your page and the amount raised will be attributed to you.

Checks can be made payable to “My Sister’s House.” Please mail in checks with your pledge form so they reach our office by Friday, October 30th – if you’d like them to be counted as part of the competition for the biggest fundraiser.

ARE THERE TEAM DISCOUNTS?
Yes. If you are on a team that has 10 or more members, the individual price is reduced to $30.

CAN I REGISTER THE DAY OF THE RACE?
Yes but we do encourage you to register early and online.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE TO PARTICIPATE?
This is an all age race.

HOW DO I UPLOAD MY RESULTS?

Instructions on how to upload your results can be found here.

CAN I WALK THE COURSE?
You design your course this year! Walk, run, bike, rollerblade, you decide!

ARE THERE AWARDS?

Even though we’re virtual, we still plan on giving awards!

Awards will be presented to:

  • Fastest male adult time uploaded
  • Fastest female adult time uploaded
  • Fastest male child time uploaded
  • Fastest female child time uploaded
  • Biggest team (as of 10/31/2020 at 9am)
  • Biggest fundraiser (as of 10/31/2020 at 9am)
  • Best costume – human
  • Best dressed pet

HOW CAN I ENTER A CONTEST?

For the top runners: Upload your time to Run for a Safe Haven Results page.

For all other contests:

Option 1: Send your photos to amandapmsh@gmail.com or text them to (916) 207-9717.

Option 2: Direct Message (DM) photos to the My Sister’s House instagram account @my_sisters_house. Then your photo will be voted on by other participants/followers of the MSH Instagram account. Winners will be announced on the Instagram page on Oct 31 after the live event. Also mention the awards: Best costume, Best pet costume, and Best dressed ensemble/group.
